Chicago is home to a burgeoning CHI community that continues to grow and diversify every year. Starting in 2006, Chi2 has been re-tooled and improved to provide the HCI community of Chicago a wealth of benefits to enrich your career and education.

One of the most noticeable changes you will see in 2006 is a new membership policy. While we have raised the price of membership, we have also significantly raised the bar on member benefits.

Joining Chi2

Chi2 Membership is $149US / year, and includes an ACM Professional Membership and a SIGCHI membership.

Chi2 members are entitled to all the benefits ACM and SIGCHI provides their members plus many more that are unique to Chi2.

Events

Besides our monthly meetings, we also sponsor and organize additional events such as job fairs, receptions, and conferences. As a Chi2 member, you can attend any one of these events free.

Unless noted, Chi2 events will be open to public. In most cases, there will be a charge for non-members.

Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month, unless noted. Monthly meetings are open to anyone who is interested.
